Fruits are delicious and fun to eat. But you still have to mind your manners when you go at them. Here are tips on how to eat these treasures with style.

Grapes are served with the branch still on. It's up to the diner to help himself with how much he'd like to take, use the grape scissors if provided. The smaller seedless grapes are eaten whole while the bigger grapes have to be pitted by hand. Just remember to put the seeds on one side of the plate.

Oranges should be eaten by hand. The well-mannered way is to remove the peel and pith and then separate the orange to its segments. It can now be eaten piece by piece by hand.

Lychees are lovely fruits . Its pinkish white flesh is easily removed from the seed. You can do this before eating it; but if you have difficulty removing the flesh, eat the fruit whole and dispose of the seed by hand.

Pineapples should be eaten piece-meal with a sharp knife and fork. Use the knife to remove the outer skin and cut the pulp to bite sized pieces.

Avocados are normally served cut in half with the seed removed. you can use a spoon to laddle out the flesh and leave the skin on your plate.

Mangoes should be cut in half and eaten with a spoon for the cheeks and a fork for the seed.
