555 Sardines Spanish Style Caprese Panini Sandwich



For Balsamic Dressing:

2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Pinch of salt and pepper
1/4 cup olive oil

For Panini:

1-155 grams 555 Sardines Spanish Style, drained and split, remove bones
1 large salad tomato, sliced
1 cup sliced kesong puti
1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
2 large ciabatta bread


Step 1

In a bowl or salad dressing bottle, combine balsamic vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper and olive oil. Whisk or shake vigorously until well blended. Set aside.

Step 2

To assemble sandwich, split bread in a half and spread balsamic dressing on the cut sides. On the bottom half of ciabatta, arrange in layers the tomato, kesong puti, basil and 555 sardines. Top with other half then grill using a panini press or broil in a toaster oven. Makes 2 servings.
