Birthday Pasta



250 gms. fettuccine or any pasta, cooked
¼ cup butter
1 head garlic, peeled & crushed
¼ cup onions, chopped
¼ cup celery, chopped
1 (170 gms.) can meat loaf, sliced thinly into rings
1 (180 gms.) can tuna solid or chunks, drained
¼ k. squids (ink sac removed), peeled, sliced into ¼”-thick rings
2/3 cup (1 small can) tomato paste
1 beef cube
1 tsp. each rock salt & ground pepper
1 cup all purpose cream
½ cup quick melt cheese, grated (for topping)
2 red bell peppers



Step 1

Set a 12" -wok or skillet oven a electric stove. Add butter and garlic. When brown, add onions and celery, cook for 1 minute.

Step 2

Stir in meat loaf, tuna, squids, beef cube, salt and pepper; cook for 2 minutes. Add tomato paste and all purpose cream. Mix until bubbly then pour over cooked pasta. Garnish with roasted bell peppers and parsley sprigs.

Step 3

To roast peppers: Put red bell peppers on top of electric stove until skin is black. Cool well then scrape off skin with a sharp knife, remove core and seeds, slice each into eight. Note: You may use ½ kilo ground beef or 1 pack [500gms.] chicken giniling instead of tuna and squids.)
