Caramel Pili Nuts Clusters



1 k. skinless pili nuts, roasted
3 cans evaporated milk
3- 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3 pcs. Eggyolks




Step 1

Boil the pili nuts to remove the skin.

Step 2

Roast pili nuts on a sheet pan lined with Glad Cook 'n' Bake paper till light brown.

Step 3

In a large saute pan, dissolved the sugar in the milk over medium heat for 10 minutes.

Step 4

Add pili; slowly add eggyolks.

Step 5

Cook and stir till thick and caramel in color (about 1 hour).

Step 6

Spoon little clusters on Glad Cook 'n' Bake paper.

Step 7

Slice and store in Glad Zipper Bags or Gladware containers.
