Cooked Salsa



2 cans whole peeled tomatoes, seeded, diced (reserved liquid)
¼ cup corn oil
1 pc. Med. Size onion, chopped
2 tbsps. Garlic, minced
1 cup tomato sauce
4 tbsps. Cilantro leaves, chopped
3/4 tsp. cumin
½ tsp. cayenne red pepper
¼ tsp. paprika bilbao
1 tsp. lemon juice
salt & pepper
hot sauce (optional)



Step 1

Saute onions and garlic. Add all ingredients except cilantro and lemon juice.

Step 2

Simmer for 5 minutes. Turn off heat and add cilantro and lemon juice.
