Corned Tuna Cheesy Wheat Bread Sandwich



1 can corned tuna
Walter Wheat Bread
lettuce leaf
½ cup carrots, finely chopped
1/8 cup yellow onions, finely chopped
¾ cup mayonnaise
½ cup cheddar cheese, finely shredded
¼ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Black pepper
¼ tsp. Black pepper


Step 1

Empty the can of corned tuna in a bowl. Using a fork or a spoon, flake the tuna.

Step 2

Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Spread on a slice of wheat bread to make a plain sandwich or a sandwich roll.

Step 3

To make the sandwich rolls: Place a slice of bread on a flat surface and a use a rolling pin to flatten it. Spread corned tuna spread on the bread, leaving ½”-space on all sides. Put a lettuce leaf on top of the spread. Apply another layer of spread on the lettuce. Roll bread tightly to enclose the filling. Slice roll crosswise into four slices. Place on a plate and garnish if desired. Serve.
