Crispy Papaya Okoy



2 cups all purpose flour
1 (8 gms.) Maggi Magic Sarap
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground pepper
1 cup water
1 egg beaten
3 cups green papaya, grated
1 cup togue
oil for frying
1/2 cup small shrimps for topping

Vinegar dip, combine:

1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 cup Maggi Savor, Classic



Step 1

In a bowl combine flour, Maggi Magic Sarap, salt and pepper.

Step 2

Pour in water and beaten egg.

Step 3

Add grated papaya and togue, continue mixing until mixture is combined enough to form a patty. Heat oil.

Step 4

Top each prepared uncooked papapya patties with a few pieces of shrimps before frying.

Step 5

Fry in hot oil until crispy and golden brown.

Step 6

Drain in paper towels to remove excess oil.

Step 7

Serve with vinegar dip on the side.
