Dalandan Chicken Salad



500 gms. Chicken breast fillet without skin
1 cup freshly squeezed dalandan juice divided
salt & pepper
2 cups wanton strips, fried
2 cups iceberg/romaine
lettuce, chopped
1 cup red & green bell peppers, thinly sliced
1 tbsps. sesame seeds, toasted

For the sauce:

4 tbsps. hoisin sauce
½ cup juice of dalandan
2 tbsps. cane vinegar
1 tbsp. sesame oil
1 tbsp. chili garlic sauce
2 tbsps. corn oil



Step 1

Season chicken with salt and pepper and half the dalandan juice and marinate for 30 minutes.

Step 2

In a hot pan, sear chicken and cook for 3 minutes per side.

Step 3

Mix sauce ingredients and adjust seasonings.

Step 4

In a large bowl, mix wanton and vegetables, add half of the sauce mix and then toss.

Step 5

Arrange the salad in a large plate and top with the sliced chicken and drizzle with more sauce.

Step 6

Sprinkle withs sesame seeds.
