Fruit Topped Baked Pancake



1 (400 gms.) pack Pillsburry Creamy Vanilla Hotcake Mix
2 pcs. Apple, cored & skin removed, sliced into thin wedges
½ cup Nestle Cornflakes, finely crushed
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup chopped cashew nuts or walnuts
2 tbsps. Melted butter
½ cup sugar


Step 1

Prepare Pillsbury Creamy Vanilla Hotcake Mix according to package instruction. When mixture is fully combined and smooth in consistency, transfer on a rectangular baking dish. Half bake on a 375ºF pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.

Step 2

Remove from oven and let cool. Top with apple wedges. In a separate baking pan, combien cornflakes, brown sugar, nuts and melted butter.

Step 3

Toast in the oven whole stirring frequently until crisp and golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.

Step 4

When cool enough to handle, sprinkle prepared pancake with the prepared cornflakes crisp.

Step 5

Repeat layer of apple, cornflakes crisp and finish off with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Bake until completely cooked for another 35 minutes.

Step 6

Let cool before slicing into serving pieces. Note: Other canned or fresh fruits in season may be used as a substitute for the fresh apple.
