Grilled Chicken with Maple-Pecan Glaze2018-02-07
2 tbsps. Apple cider vinegar
2 tbsps. Sugar
¼ cup maple syrup
2 tbsps. Diced pecans, toasted salt
black pepper, freshly cracked
4 pcs. skinless & boneless chicken breasts
2 tbsps. Extra virgin olive oil
To prepare the maple glaze: In a small saucepan, heat the cider vinegar and sugar over medium heat until the mixture boils and the sugar dissolves. Add the maple syrup and bring it to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes to thicken. Remove from heat and stir in the toasted pecans.
To prepare the grilled chicken: Preheat the grill to medium high. Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper and drizzle with olive oil. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for about 5 to 6 minutes per side. Place the chicken on a serving platter and brush with the maple-pecan glaze.
