Ham Loaf



½ kilo ground pork
½ kilo ground ham
2 eggs
1 cup saltine cracker crumbs
milk to moisten

For the sauce:

1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard
½ cup vinegar
1 cup water


Step 1

To prepare the sauce: Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and let boil. Reserve some of the sauce for basting the ham loaf.

Step 2

Mix the pork, ham, crackers and milk. Shape into individual loaves in a baking pan.

Step 3

Pour the sauce onto the loaves. Bake for at least one hour in medium heat, baste several times until done.
