Jamon De Bola With Mango Glaze2017-12-07
1 Swift Jamon de Bola, sliced into about ¾” -thick slices
1 tbsp. onion, finely chopped
3 tsps. oil
½ cup pureed mangoes/mango jam
½ cup honey
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
Heat skillet and melt butter or margarine. Fry ham botth sides until just slightly golden; set aside.
Meanwhile, cook and stir onion in oil in medium saucepan until tender. Add mango, honey and mustard; stir until well blended. Cook until heated through, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, cool slightly.
Stir in cilantro. Arrange ham slices on a nice serving platter and spoon mango sauce generously on top. Garnish with sliced mango, stemmed cherry mint leaves.
