Laing Spaghetti with Chicken Strips2017-12-07

1 tbsp. Dari Crème Classic Margarine
½ cup onions, chopped
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. ginger, minced
3 (150 gms.) cans ready-to-eat laing (available in supermarkets)
½ cup all-purpose cream
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
½ tsp. pepper flakes
300 gms. spaghetti noodles cooked according to package directions
½ cup Magnolia cheddar cheese, grated
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
4 pcs. or 360 gms. Magnolia chicken breast fillet, sliced into strips
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. ground black pepper
2 tsps. calamansi juice
3 tbsps. Dari Creme Classic Margarine
In a bowl, season chicken with salt, pepper and calamansi juice. Marinate for 15 minutes.
In a medium pan, melt margarine and pan-fry chicken strips for 2 to 3 minutes. Set aside and keep chicken warm.
In the same pan, melt margarine and saute onions, garlic and ginger over medium heat. Add laing and let cook for a minute.
Add all-purpose cream, salt, lemon juice and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Add pepper flakes.
Upon serving, toss noodles with laing sauce and top with chicken strips. Sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese.
