Mini Rhum Cake



For the cake:

1 (520 gms.) pack Maya Decadence Yellow Cake Mix
1 cup + 1 tbsp. water
3 whole eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil

For the rhum glaze:

½ cups water
2 cups sugar
1 cup melted butter
1 cup rhum


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350ºF.

Step 2

Grease and flour 8"-diameter bunt pan; set aside.

Step 3

In a mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, eggs and oil.

Step 4

Beat with an electric mixer at low speed for 30 seconds.

Step 5

Scrape sides and continue beating for 2 minutes at medium speed or beat by hand using a wire whisk for 3 minutes.

Step 6

Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted at the center of the cake comes out clean.

Step 7

Brush with rhum glaze, wrap and refrigerate until ready to be served.
