Monterey Pork Steaks with Honey Mustard Sauce2017-11-07
1 k. Monterey pork steaks
½ cup Magnolia Nutri-Oil
4 to 6 plates with
1 cup white rice, cooked
For the rub:
1 tbsp. rock salt
1 tbsp. calamansi juice
1 tsp. pepper
For the honey mustard sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsps. prepared mustard
2 tbsps. honey
2 cups mixed vegetables (peas, carrot, corn), cooked
Prepare the pork steaks-pound with a cleaver or meat mallet for faster and even cooking.
Rub with a mixture of salt, calamansi juice and pepper.
In a pan, put ½ cup Magnolia Nutri-oil; pan-fry both sides of pork steaks; set aside.
Prepare the sauce: With a wire whisk, mix in a bowl the mayonnaise, honey and mustard until blended.
To serve: Put a cup of rice on each plate; arrange 2 pieces pork steak on one side; top steaks with sauce; put half a cup of mixed vegetables on top of sauce.
