Monterey Roast Beef With Hunt’s Gravy

¼ cup Magnolia Nutri-oil
½ k. Monterey beef tenderloin, center-frozen
For the gravy:

¼ cup Magnolia Gold Butter
1 cup white onion, sliced into rings
1 green bell pepper, sliced into ½” -thick rings
1 beef cube
2 tsps. rock salt
½ tsp. pepper
2 cups Hunt’s Party Spaghetti Sauce


Step 1

Pre-heat oven to 350ºF (175ºC). To prepare the gravy: Put pan where you cooked the beef on top of the stove. Add the Magnolia Gold Butter. Stir-fry onions, bell pepper, beef cube, salt, pepper. Add Hunt's sauce. Let boil.

Step 2

Heat over a stove an orange "Dutch" oven or any thick pan available. Add oil, when hot carefully brown all sides of beef. Cover. Put in the oven for 20 minutes for medium; 30 minutes for well done. (Check with instant read thermometer). Transfer to a chopping board, slice into 8 pieces. Put on a platter, pour gravy.
