Oatmeal Prawns



500 gms. Prawns, trimmed, washed & drained
5 cups oil, for frying
4 tbsps. Butter
4 eggyolks, beaten
2 tbsps. Garlic, chopped
2 tbsps. Shallots, chopped
1 tbsp. sugar
7 hot chili peppers, sliced
salt & pepper to taste
6 tbsps. quick-cooking oatmeal



Step 1

Dip the prawns in butter, eggyolks and oatmeal.

Step 2

In a pan, heat some butter and saute garlic, shallots, hot chili peppers and sugar.

Step 3

Add in the buttered and oatmeal covered prawns.

Step 4

Season with salt and pepper.

Step 5

Serve immediately
