Purefoods Kimbap



1 (180 gms.) can Purefoods Corned Beef
1 tbsp. Onions, minced
1 tsp. Garlic, chopped
1 tbsp. Sugar for corned beef
2 cups cooked rice
2 tbsps. Rice vinegar
1 tsp. Sugar for rice
1 tsp. Soy sauce
½ tsp. Sesame oil
1 pc. Egg, beaten
nori wrapper
1 pc. Carrot, julienned & blanched in broth

For the kimbap sauce:

2 tbsps. Water
1 tsp. Soy sauce
1 tsp. Sesame oil
1 tbsp. Gochujang
1/4 tsp. Pepper



Step 1

Saute corned beef with onions, garlic and sugar. Set aside.

Step 2

Mix rice with vinegar, sugar, soy sauce and sesame oil. Set aside.

Step 3

Fry eggs to pancake style and cut egg into strips. To assemble: Lay bamboo mat, put the nori wrapper on top. Spread rice over 2/3 of the sheet, lay carrots, Purefoods corned beef and eggs. Roll tightly and slice into 1/2”-rounds.

Step 4

To prepare the sauce: Mix all the ingredients together over low heat. Simmer for a few minutes and serve with the Purefoods Kimbap.
