Rum Syrup

Ingredients:

3 tbsps. Sugar
ΒΌ cup mango puree
3 tbsps. Rum

Method

Step 1

In a small saucepan, combine sugar and mango; let boil; stir until just sugar is dissolved. Off the fire, add the rum. Pierce top of cake at 1-inch intervals and brush with rum syrup while still hot.
