Sticky Rice Pudding (Suman Hubad)



3 cups glutinous rice (malagkit), washed
3-1/2 cups Petter Paul Coconut Milk
1-3/4 cups Peter Paul Coconut Cream (kakang gata)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. McCormick pandan extract
1/4 tsp. fine salt
1/4 cup Magnolia Gold Butter
ripe mango, cubed
red kaong
mint leaves



Step 1

Put the washed malagkit in a rice cooker with the coconut milk.

Step 2

Cook for 20 minutes.

Step 3

Add coconut cream and cook for 10 minutes more.

Step 4

When rice is done, add sugar, pandan extract, salt and butter. Blend well.

Step 5

To serve: Divide onto water goblets and top with cubed mango. Garnish with red kaong and mint leaves for contrast.
