Sweet Corny Chowder2017-10-27
¼ cup oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 tbsps. celery, chopped
2 small potatoes, peeled & diced
2 cups chicken broth
2 pcs. hotdog, sliced
1 cup whole corn kernels
3 tbsps. all-purpose flour dissolved in 1 cup milk
Salt & pepper
Heat the oil in a saucepan then sauté the onions and celery until tender.
Add potatoes, broth and hotdog.
Cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
Add the corn and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add the dissolved flour.
Cool until slightly thick.
Season to taste.
