Tuna Arroz Ala Cubana



2 tbsps. Cooking oil
1 tbsp. garlic, minced
¼ cup onions, minced
½ cup tomatoes, diced
1 tbsp. tomato paste
¼ cup water
1 (184 gms.) Century Tuna Chunks in Vegetable Oil, drained
2 tbsps. Raisins
½ tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 tbsps. green peas
¼ cup potatoes, diced & cooked
2 ripe saba bananas, sliced & fried
eggs, fried sunny side up
cooked rice



Step 1

In a large pot, heat oil and saute garlic until light brown. Add onions and cook until transparent. Add tomatoes, tomato paste and water. Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 2

Add tuna, raisins salt, pepper, peas and potatoes. Simmer for 5 minutes. In a large serving platter, arrange cooked rice, top with fried eggs and surround side with fried bananas and tuna.
