White Fruit Cake2017-09-29
¼ cup unsalted Magnolia Gold Butter, softened
¼ cup Baron all purpose flour
5 pcs. Red candied cherries
5 pcs. Green candied cherries
10 pcs. Whole walnuts
For the cake:
1 cup unsalted Magnolia Gold Butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
3 pcs. Eggs
1 tbsp. Baking powder
¼ cup orange juice
2-1/2 cups Baron All purpose flour
½ cup water
1-1/2 cups mixed glazed fruits
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a bowl, combine butter and flour.
Crush butter-flour mixture on bottom and sides of a 1 bundt pan.
Arrange red and green candied cherries at the bottom of the pan and walnuts in between cherries. Set aside.
For the cake: Cream together butter, and sugar.
Add in the eggs, baking powder, orange juice and beat on high speed.
Turn mixer to low and add in the flour and water.
Lastly, add in the mixed glazed fruits.
Bake the cake in the oven for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Remove cake from pan and serve.
